GENERAL TECHNICAL RULES
- TIME AND DURATION
The 51st International Children’s Games will take place from July 4th to 9th, 2017 in Kaunas City, Republic of Lithuania.
The programme of the 51st International Children’s Games includes the following disciplines:
- SUMMER SPORTS
TEAM SPORTS: Basketball 3 on 3, Football (Soccer) – for boys and girls, Beach Volleyball
INDIVIDUAL SPORTS: Athletics – Track & Field, Judo, Sailing, Swimming, Table Tennis
The participants must have a minimum age of 12 years, and maximum age of 15 years. Must be students (male of female) under the age of 16 (age limit effective as of 31.12 in the year of the Children’s Games), but older than 12 years (age limit effective as 01.01 in the year of the Children’s Games).
- IDENTITY CARD, CONTROL AND SANCTIONS
All participants of the Games (athletes, coaches, other participants) need to have identification cards, made by the organizer of the Games. The ID card has to include the Participant’s photo, the First and last name, City and Country.
The Head of the delegation is obliged to give the accurate data for the ID cards.
The Head of the Delegation needs to assure the insight into the legal documents of the participants in the case of any complaint, therefore it is advisable to bring the copy of the documents to the Games.
In the case of fraud, the City will be obliged to pay all penalty expenses and fines imposed by the Executive Committee of ICG.
The Referee of appointed discipline as well as the Head of Competition must inspect the athlete’s ID card before commencing the competition.
- TECHNICAL MEETINGS
Joint technical meeting for all disciplines will take place at Athletes’ Campus (accommodation site) on 5th July, 2017 at 7.30 a.m. At the meeting the Heads of Competition and the members of ICG TC will take part.
The technical meetings of individual disciplines are summoned at Athletes’ Campus (accommodation site) on 5th July, 2017 at 8.00 a.m. At the meetings the Heads of Competition and the members of ICG TC as well as the coaches will take part.
